 Location, Environment and Building of Engineering College:-           

 The Engineering college is one of the esteemed institution of S.H. jondhale Educational complex and it is named as Shri. Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering. It Is situated 3 km. from Dombivli Railway station on the eastern side, Kalyan Sheel road, behind Venkatesh Petrol pump, Sonarpada, Dombilvli (E) Dist. Thane M.S. INDIA. The Campus is spread over 17 Acres of the land with beautiful landscape and buildings. with all the facilities. The college has its own Administrative Office, Classroom, Library, Well Furnished Reading Room, Well Equipped Laboratories, Drawing Halls, Students Common Room, Engineering Workshop etc.

Governing Body:-

 Governing body of the Engineering College is constituted as per the directives of the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. which looks after the overall activities of Engineering College.

 Local Managing Committee:-

 It consists of representatives of management, Teaching staff, Non Teaching Staff. It looks after the day to day activities, facilities etc.

THE TRUST AND ITS ACTIVITIES

 Samarth Samaj', a registered Public Trust, was founded by Late Shri. Sakharam seth H.Jondhale in the year 1960 humbly beginning as a school. In the last four decades, this small seedings blossomed into a giant Educational complex catering to 12000 students at all levels.

 Samarth Samaj is one of the leading & progressive educational Institute imparting all types of education right from K.G., Junior college (commerce & Science), Polytechnic and Engineering College etc. Samarth Samaj's Educational Complex is situated just two minutes walk from the west side of DombivIi Railway station in Thane Dist.

 The Management of Samarth Samaj, recognized the need of trained manpower in technical fields to meet the needs of the nation for 21 st. century.

 The moment the Maharashtra Government took the revolutionary and bold policy decision of permitting the establishment of unaided (Private) Engineering Education Institute, Samarth Samaj's was ready to start this new activity and started its First Polytechnic in DombivIi in the 1984.

Considering the need, demand and place around the city the Samarth Samaj started Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering at DombivIi (E.) from academic year 1994-95.

It is recognized by AICTE and Government of Maharashtra, and affiliated to Mumbai.University. This is the only Engineering College between Thane and Karjat on Central Railway.
