About Us

Mahatma Education Society is an educational trust dedicated to the spread of quality education and eradication of illiteracy.

Established in the year 1970, it now runs 35 institutions in 6 campuses in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, with education beginning from the pre-primary level to post-graduate courses.

In all the institutions, students are coming from diverse backgrounds irrespective of region, religion, caste and economic strata. It is really fulfilling the goal and vision of our CEO: “Education for all”.

At the helm of affairs is Founder Secretary and CEO, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai who with his far-sighted vision and multi-cultural outlook has brought the institution on the global map.
Prin. M. P. Pillai is the Founder Chairman and has 40 years of teaching experience to his credit.
Dr. Daphne Pillai is the Jt. Secretary and Rector of the Society’s group of Institutions. Her insistence on quality in education has earned for her college the coveted ‘A’ Grade from NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore)

The Institute

Pillai's College of Architecture (PiCA) was established in 1992.

The PiCA Cell then, now PiCA Research Cell, the consultancy division of the college has designed this state of the art building. The unique feature in the development of the college campus is the active involvement of both the faculty and the students of the college.

The Mission

Pillai's College of Architecture endeavors to achieve excellence in imparting Architectural Education and Training for changing socio-cultural aspirations, environmental compulsions, material and technological innovations, IT revolution and globalization of economies.
